Algonquin

• A 22-year-old Lake in the Hills man was accused of drunken driving at 4:30 a.m. Sunday, police said. Michael John Korzin, of 159 Hilltop Drive, was charged with driving under the influence and improper lane use, police said. Korzin posted a $100 bond and his driver's license and was given an Oct. 24 court date in Woodstock.

• An Algonquin man was arrested on drug charges at his home at 1 p.m. Sunday, police said. James R. Jurkowski, 31, of 2123 Glacier Court, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of hypodermic needles and possession of marijuana, police said. Jurkowski was held in the McHenry County jail on $5,000 bond with a Sept. 24 court date in Woodstock.

Elgin

• Three Elgin men were indicted on drug charges Monday by a Kane County grand jury. Ronald Tribble, 19, of 313 Kathleen Drive; Riccardo Mejia, 40, of 565 Franklin Blvd.; and Daniel Bradford, 21, of 366 Purdue Lane were charged with delivery of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a park, delivery of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance, police said. Bonds were set at $35,000 for Tribble and Mejia and $25,000 for Bradford. They were held in the Elgin lockup. Their next court date is Sept. 26 at the Kane County Judicial Center.

• An Elgin man was arrested on drug charges at 11:45 p.m. Monday at Crystal Avenue and Locust Street, police said. Marshan T. Marshall, 39, of 2225 Colorado Ave., was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after 1.3 grams of heroin and a smoking pipe were found, police said. Marshall posted a $1,500 bond and was given an Oct. 1 court date at the Kane County Judicial Center.

• Burglars broke a window Friday and robbed $200 from Westland Golf, 11900 Algonquin Road.

South Elgin

• A Hanover Park man was arrested on an outstanding DuPage County warrant at 9:30 p.m. Sunday on the 900 block of North LaFox Street, police said. Joseph Myatt, 31, of 2016 Chaplin Court, was wanted on for failing to appear in court on a charge of driving while license revoked, police said. Myatt posted $500 and was released. He is scheduled to appear again in court Oct. 17 in Wheaton.
