• Lisa M. Clayton, 37, 11325 274th Ave., Trevor, Wis., was arrested around 5:50 a.m. Aug. 2 and charged with battery. She is accused of having punched a 47-year-old woman in the face several times during an argument at the victim's home on the 26300 block of Prospect Road, the Lake County sheriff's office said. A court date was not available.

•Joseph L. Mims, 18, 565 S. Genesee St., Waukegan, and Mandel L. Thorne, 17, 2527 Dugdale Road, Waukegan, were arrested Aug. 2 and charged with unlawful use of a weapon and possession of ammunition without a firearm owner's ID card after a traffic stop at Rollins Road and Route 45, police said. Court dates were not available.

•A motorist driving a white Ford Explorer left the Citgo gas station, 3419 Route 132, without paying for gas valued at $60 around 8 a.m. Aug. 5.

•Thieves stole 120 pounds of scrap copper cord between 9 p.m. July 29 and 7 a.m. July 30 off the front porch of a house on the 35600 block of Louise Place, the Lake County sheriff's office said. According to reports, the victim collects scrap metal, and there are several pieces on the lawn, porch and driveway. Value was estimated at $120.
Island Lake
•Burglars smashed a window and stole a GPS unit overnight Aug. 2-3 out of a vehicle parked on the 3200 block of Hale Lane, police said. A value estimate was not available.

•Vandals scratched a 2003 Volkswagen Jetta on an unknown date, but reported Aug. 2, on the 36700 block of Bernice Drive, the Lake County sheriff's office said. A damage estimate was not available.
Mundelein
•Hyun Ung Yoo, 22, 274 W. Court of Shorewood, Vernon Hills, was arrested around 12:05 a.m. Aug. 2 and charged with possession of marijuana after a traffic stop on Route 45 at Route 176, police said. His Waukegan court date was set for Sept. 12.
Round Lake
•Saulo A. Mora, 20, 1517 S. 60th, Cicero, Hector Mora, 18, 1812 S. 58th Court, Cicero, and Guillermo Zavalla-Campos, 29, 5434 W. 24th, Cicero, were arrested around 8:20 p.m. July 25 and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia after an officer stopped their car for a traffic violation at Fairfield Road and Route 60 and found two drug pipes, a scale, a small bag of cocaine, and more than $15,000, police said. A court date was not available.

•Burglars stole a GPS unit and credit cards overnight July 22-23 out of an unlocked car on the 900 block of Millstone, police said. Someone used the credit cards before they could be canceled, reports indicated. A damage estimate was not available.
•Brandilyn M. Brennan, 29, 539 Meadowhill Lane, Round Lake Beach, was arrested around 2:20 p.m. July 30 and charged with battery. She is accused of pushing a victim in the chest during an argument at a store on the 700 block of East Rollins Road, police said. A court date was not available.
•Michael K. Jefferson, 22, 415 Railroad Ave., Round Lake, was arrested around 3:55 p.m. July 31 and charged with disorderly conduct. He's accused of swearing at police officers at day care center, alarming the small children who heard it, police said. A court date was not available.
Vernon Hills
•Christopher U. Czuj, 20, 300 Ardmore Court, Vernon Hills, and Megan L. Lustig, 20, 2210 Miramar Lane, Buffalo Grove, were arrested July 29 on the 500 block of Aspen Drive, police said. Czuj was charged with minor consumption of alcohol, and Lustig was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, reports added. Their Mundelein court date was set for Aug. 18.

•Burglars stole undisclosed items July 28 out of a vehicle parked in an apartment lot on the 600 block of East Liberty Street, police said. A value estimate was not available.
