Bridge Communities, a nonprofit transitional housing program serving homeless families in DuPage County with assistance from local churches, received a donation of $300,000 from Ron McDaniel, president of the Ronald L. McDaniel Foundation. The amount will be used to complete the acquisition of a six-flat apartment building in Westmont for sale to families who have completed the agency's housing program.
