• The Oakbrook Terrace Park District will offer Turbo Kick, a group fitness class, from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m. Fridays, today to June 12, at the park district's fitness center, 1 Parkview Plaza. • Villa Park Recreation's rugby program will be offered from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturdays, Saturday to May 3, at Rotary Park, 600 E. Wildwood. • Jeff Skelley of the Bloomingdale Fire Department will teach a basic CPR class at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Bloomingdale Public Library, 101 Fairfield Way. The class will cover adult, child and infant CPR; choking; and how to use an automated external defibrillator. Participants will be CPR certified for two years. Registration is required. • Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital will present Tai Chi Chinese exercise as a six-week session from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Tuesday to May 13, at 26W171 Roosevelt Road, Wheaton. • The Carol Stream Park District will offer these classes with registration at the Simkus Recreation Center, 849 Lies Road, Carol Stream. A Hatha yoga for mother and daughter will begin at 6 p.m. Tuesday. The fee is $45 per person. A Bean Bag League for teams includes a tournament that begins Thursday at Code, 23330 N. • The DuPage Birding Club will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the IIT Rice Center, 201 E. Loop Road, Wheaton. The program will focus on the ivory-billed woodpecker skins. • Villa Park Recreation will offer country line-dancing classes the second and fourth Fridays of every month at the Community Recreation Building, 320 E. Wildwood Ave., Villa Park. Beginning class starts at 6 p.m. and class for more experienced dancers will be from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Singles, couples and groups all are welcome.
