McHenry County Habitat for Humanity offers holiday gift ideas

This year, Habitat for Humanity of McHenry County sent out greeting cards to the McHenry County Habitat for Humanity homeowners to remind them that they are blessed and to initiate a new fundraising campaign for the season.

Many times, family members are spread across the country and with the current economic situation the gift budget is tight. During December, consider a "Bless this House" personalized ready-to-frame certificate in a presentation folder or five-pack of greeting cards to give as gifts to loved ones and friends. Proceeds benefit current and future home builds.

It will be available for a $15 donation to the cause for each certificate or a $8 donation for each pack of greeting cards.

Affiliated with Habitat for Humanity International, Habitat for Humanity of McHenry County hopes to raise funds to continue its mission to build simple, decent and affordable houses for low-income families.
