• Thieves may have stolen a blender and waffle maker around 8:30 p.m. Aug. 14 from William Sonoma, 20530 Rand Road, police said. A value estimate was not available.

Fox Lake

• Vandals wrote graffiti Aug. 11 on two stop signs at the intersection of Waterford Way and Lexington Lane, police said. A damage estimate was not available.

Gurnee

• Vandals damaged the door to theater 14 around 3 p.m. Aug. 15 at Gurnee Cinemas, 6144 Route 132, police said. A damage estimate was not available.

• Thieves stole two envelopes, each containing a check, around 4 p.m. Aug. 17, out of a mailbox on the 3800 block of Dorchester Avenue, police said. Total value was estimated at $126.

• Thieves stole a purse with cash and debit card Aug. 19 from a woman at Six Flags Great America, 1 Six Flags Parkway, police said. The purse was found at lost-and-found, but the money and debit card were missing, reports said. Value was estimated at $46.

Hawthorn Woods

• Michael Gabriel, 19, 300 Meadow Court, Vernon Hills, was arrested around 3:15 a.m. Aug. 11 and charged with local ordinance minor consumption of alcohol after an officer stopped his car for a traffic violation at Gilmer and Midlothian roads and discovered Gabriel had been drinking alcohol, police said. A court date was not available.

Island Lake

• Burglars stole undisclosed items around 12:30 p.m. Aug. 17 out of an unlocked 1994 Mercury parked on the 4000 block of Roberts Road, police said. A value estimate was not available.

Lake Zurich

• Burglars smashed a window on two vehicles and stole property around 8 p.m. Aug. 12 on the 400 block of North Rand Road, police said. Total value was estimated at $1,020.

Libertyville

• Chad S. Tolbert, 21, 635 W. Park Ave., Libertyville, was arrested around 8 p.m. Aug. 10 and charged with disorderly conduct after he threatened a 36-year-old man in an apartment complex on the 600 block of West Park Avenue, police said. According to reports, the victim told Tolbert to leave and Tolbert threatened to kill him. Officers found Tolbert on the North Shore bike path and arrested him, reports said. His Waukegan court date was set for Sept. 20.

Mundelein

• Anazario Vasquez-Juan, 20, 516 S. Lake St., Apt. 2A, Mundelein, was arrested Aug. 17 and charged with soliciting a prostitute after an officer found him with a prostitute on Lake Street at Allanson Road, police said. Ana G. Dalmau, 33, 3223 N. Kenneth Ave., Chicago, was arrested and charged with prostitution after she admitted she was a prostitute, reports added. Their Waukegan court date was set for Sept. 7.

Round Lake Beach

• Burglars stole an MP3 player overnight Aug. 7-8 out of an unlocked Chevrolet truck parked at a home on the 1500 block of Pinegrove Drive, police said. Value was estimated at $300.

Vernon Hills

• Michael S. Vincent, 26, 3221 W. Victoria, Chicago, was arrested Aug. 7 and charged with theft after a security agent for Pacific Swimwear in Westfield Hawthorn Shoppingtown Mall discovered Vincent, an employee, made false merchandise returns, police said. Total value was estimated at $1,482. A court date was not available.

Wauconda

• Vandals wrote graffiti Aug. 10 on the side of a building at Larkdale Row and Dunbar Road, police said. A damage estimate was not available.
