Rick Wills of Naperville was promoted to managing director at the Naperville financial center of Chicago-based Northern Trust. Wills, who joined Northern Trust in 1994, becomes responsible for strategic direction and growth of the company's business in Naperville and Wheaton. He was most recently responsible for Northern Trust's Global Fund Services business in North America.
Michael Moser of Aurora was named vice president and chief operating officer for George Williams College of Aurora University at Williams Bay, Wis., a new position. Moser, who was formerly vice president for student life, becomes responsible for oversight of campus safety, infrastructure, physical facilities, food service and conference facilities.
OfficeMax, Naperville, hired Sam Martin as executive vice president and chief operating officer, responsible for all areas of retail, contract and supply chain. Martin, most recently served as senior vice president of operations with Wild Oats Markets Inc.
Family Home Health and Family Centered Hospice Services Inc., Addison, appointed Sandra Cashman of Fox River Grove director of hospice. Cashman becomes responsible for program growth, operations, business profitability, oversight of clinical staff and the delivery of high-quality patient care. She holds a bachelor's degree in nursing and a master's of business administration degree.
George A. Chivari was named chief operating officer at Bolingbrook-based Quantum Foods LLC, a provider of portion-controlled steaks and multiple proteins. Chivari, who has more than 30 years of food industry experience, will manage Quantum Foods global product operations.
Jim Skogsbergh, president and chief executive officer of Advocate Health Care, Oak Brook, was elected chairman of the board of trustees of the Illinois Hospital Association, with offices in Naperville and Springfield. The Illinois Hospital Association represents 200 hospitals and health systems and the patients and communities they serve.
John Haskins, co-owner of Viking Travel Services, Westmont and Naperville, was honored by the American Society of Travel Agents with its 2007 Travel Agent of the Year award. Haskins has been a member of the society since 1984.
Old Second National Bank, with offices in Kane and DuPage counties, promoted Aurora resident Don Pilmer to senior vice president and regional branch manager. Pilmer, who joined the bank 18 years ago, spent the majority of his service in commercial banking and branch development. He assumes management of the bank's treasury management group in addition to his regional responsibilities in commercial banking.
