Cori Wronski scored the only goal of the game Friday, her eighth of the season, as the Huntley girls soccer team downed Grayslake Central 1-0 in a Fox Valley Conference Fox Division game.

Kaylee O'Brien assisted on the goal, which came in the first period of overtime.

Kaytlyn Owen and Sara Hoffman shared time in the net for the Red Raiders (11-1-0, 2-0-0) but weren't called on to make any saves.

Deerfield 2, CL South 1: The Gators lost 6-5 on penalty kicks to drop this Lake Forest tournament game. Carly Juliano had South's only goal and Jessica Taldone made 5 saves in goal for the Gators (3-6).

West Aurora 1, Streamwood 0: Bri Roppo and Pearl Patel had 5 saves each for Streamwood (1-8-3) in this loss at the West Aurora tournament.

Elgin Academy 4, North Shore Country Day 1: Lauren Steimle scored another hat trick for the Hilltoppers (3-1-1, 1-1) in this Independent School League win. Kristin Ceila scored the other goal for EA and Bianca Swegler had 19 saves in goal.
