Stevenson nets ninth shutout
Stevenson's soccer team netted another shutout Friday.
The host Patriots recorded their ninth shutout in 10 games this season in a 2-0 win over Libertyville in North Suburban Lake Division action.
Austin Gregorcy and Nicole Sodomire each scored for Stevenson (6-1-3, 3-0), while goalie Courtney Levy rolled up 7 saves.
Lakes 4, Grayslake North 2: Lakes went up 2-0 within the first 25 minutes and never looked back in marching to the nonconference win.
Ashley Chernich scored 2 goals and assisted on another for the Eagles.
Meanwhile, Grayslake North got its goals from a pair of freshmen: Maggie Stojak and Liz Steinhoff.
Prospect 3, Wauconda 0: The Bulldogs couldn't get on the board against Prosepect in the Knights Invitational at Prospect.
