Check out some of the craft fairs and bazaars happening around the suburbs, featuring handmade items, vintage goods, artwork, and seasonal decorations.

Saturday, Sept. 26

Crafty Creations Craft Fair: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 675 E. Algonquin Road, Des Plaines. Features over 40 indoor vendors and additional outdoor vendors offering a variety of decor, jewelry and hand-sewn items. Food, bake sale, raffles and more. Art in the Barn: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 26-27, on the grounds of Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital, 450 W. Route 22, Barrington. 51st annual art fair features more than 150 artists exhibiting works in acrylics, ceramics, drawing, fiber, glass, jewelry, mixed media, oils, pastels, photography, printmaking, sculpture, watercolors, wood and more. Plus, entertainment and food, including the “Famous Brat Tent,” Martin’s Taco Truck, Nothing Bundt Cakes, MJ's Coffee, Stix and Noodles, Happy’s Bavarian Pretzels, and Charlie’s Chocolates. Cantigny Fall Fest market: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 26-27, at Cantigny Park, 1S151 Winfield Road, Wheaton. The family-friendly weekend fest also features a market with over 60 local vendors with one-of-a-kind crafts, seasonal decor, and tasty treats. Plant sales offer greenery or fall plants to brighten your home or garden. Washington, Chicago. 200 dealers, both indoors and outdoors, featuring art, antiques and vintage decor, ephemera, vintage and indie designer fashion and jewelry, vinyl, global goods, fancy and fun foods at this European-style flea market festival.
