Sweet! National Donut Day deals on Friday

If you love doughnuts, then Friday, which is National Donut Day, is for you. Here are some options of where to find doughnut deals and freebies throughout the suburbs.

Duck Donuts is celebrating with one free classic doughnut per guest, no purchase necessary, in-store only. Guests can also take advantage of the one-day-only offer of a half-dozen classic doughnuts for $6 or $8 for a party half-dozen. Plus, they’re giving out a free rubber duck with the purchase of any dozen. Locations are in Geneva, Libertyville, Naperville and Willowbrook.

Dunkin’ kicked off the week with a limited-time Dunkin’ tote bag giveaway (while supplies last) with the purchase of a half-dozen donuts or more. On Friday they’ll be offering a free doughnut with any beverage purchase.

Krispy Kreme is offering one free doughnut of your choice, no purchase necessary, on Friday. You can also grab a dozen original glazed for $2 with the purchase of any dozen at regular price.

Stan’s Donuts & Coffee is offering a free chocolate-dipped cake doughnut with any purchase on Friday, June 5. Some lucky guests may receive a special pink-colored chocolate dipped, meaning they’ve won free doughnuts for a year. Anyone who finds green inside wins doughnuts for life. The Donut Day celebration deal will be available at all Stan’s stand-alone locations, as well as Mariano’s kiosks throughout the Chicago area. Every location will have one pink doughnut. You can find them in Naperville, Oak Brook, Oakbrook Terrace, Rosemont and Schaumburg.

Fry the Coop is doing their annual team up with Stan’s to make two, one-day-only, doughnut chicken sandwiches. The local hot chicken chain is offering the OG Donut Chicken sandwich and a Spicy Butter Fried Chicken Donut sandwich at their 10 locations Friday. Both sandwiches are served on a glazed doughnut and cost $6.50.
