Friends of Wheaton Public Library plan Book and Media Sale Aug. 10-13

The Friends of the Wheaton Public Library are gearing up for their biggest fundraiser of the year.

The annual Book and Media Sale will be Thursday to Sunday, Aug. 10-13, at the library, 225 N. Cross St.

One of the biggest book sales in the area, you'll find bargain books in all categories and for all ages sorted into more than 50 categories including a children's section.

In addition to thousands of books, the Media Room features DVDs, CDs, LPs, audiobooks, Playaways, and computer games. A preview sale will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 9 for members of the Friends.

The sale is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10; 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12; and 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 13.

On Saturday, a bag of books is just $5 and Sunday features even more bargains. Admission is free.
