Chef Pecora joins Addison restaurant in a Menu Collab, starting March 7

Family-owned Mediterranean restaurant Briki Cafe in Addison will be joining forces with local well-known chef Vince Pecora, formerly of Moxy Pub & Plate in Addison which just recently closed their doors.

Opened in 2017, Briki Cafe at 1453 W. Lake St. is the foremost Greek and Mediterranean eatery in Chicago's Northwest suburbs.

Teaming up this March with owners Steve Fotos, Frank Georgacopoulos, and Brandon Kratz is Vince Pecora, a Chicago-based chef whose clients span from U.S. Presidents as the requested chef for Air Force One to Soldier Field and Wrigley Field to Elton John, Johnny Mathis, Tony Bennett, and stars of the entrainment industry.

Known as Hollywood's "go-to" Chicago chef and named Restaurant News' 2015 Restaurateur of the Year, Chef Vince's resume highlights notable clients including Walt Disney Studios, 20th Century Fox, and United Center, as well as numerous local groups and organizations including Arlington Heights Police Department, Alexian Brothers Hospital, and the villages of Palatine, Schaumburg, and Hoffman Estates.

Both a local celebrity chef and an innovative caterer, Pecora lead the 35th anniversary of Willow Creek Church in Chicago feeding over 25,000 people with a portable wood-burning pizza oven which earned him a spot on ABC7's 190 North as "Best Niche Caterer."

Most recently, Chef Vince was seen as the head chef at Moxy's Pub & Plate in Addison.

Pecora's next venture is a "Menu Collab" with Briki Cafe - a joint endeavor that will see Chef Vince's creations and Briki Cafe's staples share a menu from 4 to 9 p.m. every Tuesday through Saturday beginning March 7.
