HACIA Awards Banquet Celebrates Local Contractors & Honors Scholarship Recipients

The Hispanic American Construction Industry Association (HACIA) will host its 43rd Annual Awards Banquet on Friday, Feb. 14th 2023 at the Hilton Chicago (720 South Michigan Avenue) from 5pm to 9pm.

Over the past 43 years, HACIA's Annual Banquet has emerged as the largest construction trade association event in the Chicagoland area. This year, the event will gather over 1,200 guests within the construction industry, including supporters and public officials.

HACIA is proud to announce the awarding of ten $5,000 scholarships to deserving students pursuing careers in a construction-related field as part of the HACIA Scholarship & Education Foundation (HACIASEF). The scholarships will be presented during the ceremony. Students from the following universities will be receiving their award: Bradley University, Illinois Institute of Technology, Marquette University, Purdue University, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, University of Illinois at Chicago, Northwestern University, Southern Illinois University Carbondale and Judson University.

Awards will be presented in the following categories to honor HACIA's rising stars and their dedication in their respective fields: HACIA Contractor of the Year, HACIA Professional Services Firm of the Year, HACIA Member of the Year, General Contractor of the Year, Supplier of the Year, Non-Profit of the Year, Government Visionary Award, Public Project of the Year and Private Project of the Year
