The Official Winning Team at ComEd EV Rally is TEAL TURBO
Under the banner of getting more women into STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) fields, ComEd hosted late this summer a competition named ComEd EV Rally (formerly known as The Icebox Derby). Thirty Chicago area girls, aged 13 to 18,were teamed up in 6 teams and worked for weeks with ComEd women engineers to build the cars of the future. All 6 teams raced their electric vehicles to the finish line in front of family and friends at the Museum of Science and Industry. Each team had to answer quickly to multiple science questions and solve math problems. The official winners of ComEd EV Rally was TEAL TURBO, a team of high school girls from different school districts. The girls name of the team are :Adrianna J. Pinzariu, Maddie Murphy, Eden Wilson, Beverly Yu and Isabel Loza. The local TV News like CBS, 7ABC and WGN 9 were present too, interviewing the winning team after the race.
