The Chapel hosts its first Mudder-Daughter Mud Run on Sept. 10
On Sept. 10, The Chapel will be hosting its first Mudder-Daughter Mud Run. This event is designed to bring together girls in grades 4-12 and their mothers or mother figures for a day of good conversation and muddy fun.
Church staff members have been working to create a new mud run course at the Grayslake campus, located on Route 60 in Grayslake. The new course will have 14 unique obstacles that will challenge runners along the mile-long course.
Before taking to the course, mothers and their daughters will have the opportunity to hear a short message and discuss the special gifts each girl has, with a focus on reinforcing their identity and empowering them to use their gifts to make a positive difference in their communities.
This event is open to all who want to join. The cost is $15 per participant. A Mud Run T-shirt can be purchased for an additional $12.
