Fired up: Where to find July 4 dining specials this weekend

July 4 weekend is here - do you have plans yet? If not, here are some specials that suburban restaurants are cooking up to honor Independence Day on Monday.

Andy's Frozen Custard

Locations across the suburbs, eatandys.com/. Over the July 4 weekend (and through July 12), Andy's will be serving up the Freedom Berry Jackhammer made with vanilla frozen custard, blueberries and strawberries and filled with marshmallow crème. On Monday, $1 from each Freedom Berry treat sold will go to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

Antico Posto

On July 4, indulge in brunch until 3 p.m. that includes specialties such as the lemon and blueberry yogurt; bacon, cheddar and egg sandwich; migas egg scramble; baked French toast; prime burger and more. Bonefish Grill

That means that the Winter White Cosmo (a blend of Reyka Vodka, Cointreau, St. Germain Elderflower liqueur, white cranberry juice and fresh lime juice topped with frozen cranberries) is back July 4-17 for $9.90. The drink can be ordered to-go as a Tinis' for Two cocktail kit, which includes the drink ingredients and a cocktail shaker, for $15. Pair it with seasonal specials such as shrimp rangoon dip, pineapple-glazed shrimp, Baja scallop scampi and shrimp or shrimp rangoon-topped salmon.

Broken Oar

The $70 grilling package includes Angus steak burgers, bratwurst or beef franks, buns, potato or pasta salad and homemade potato chips. Order ahead for pickup.
