July 4 weekend is here - do you have plans yet? If not, here are some specials that suburban restaurants are cooking up to honor Independence Day on Monday.

Andy's Frozen Custard

Locations across the suburbs, eatandys.com/. Over the July 4 weekend (and through July 12), Andy's will be serving up the Freedom Berry Jackhammer made with vanilla frozen custard, blueberries and strawberries and filled with marshmallow crème. On Monday, $1 from each Freedom Berry treat sold will go to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

Antico Posto

Beatrix

On July 4, indulge in brunch until 3 p.m. that includes specialties such as the lemon and blueberry yogurt; bacon, cheddar and egg sandwich; migas egg scramble; baked French toast; prime burger and more. Bonefish Grill

That means that the Winter White Cosmo (a blend of Reyka Vodka, Cointreau, St. Germain Elderflower liqueur, white cranberry juice and fresh lime juice topped with frozen cranberries) is back July 4-17 for $9.90. The drink can be ordered to-go as a Tinis' for Two cocktail kit, which includes the drink ingredients and a cocktail shaker, for $15. Pair it with seasonal specials such as shrimp rangoon dip, pineapple-glazed shrimp, Baja scallop scampi and shrimp or shrimp rangoon-topped salmon.

Broken Oar

B Square Pizza

Burger Bar

City Works is extending its weekend Rock n' Roll brunch to 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, serving dishes such as Breakfast in America (a green onion cheddar biscuit sandwich with aged cheddar scrambled eggs and a sausage patty, accompanied by cheesy potato casserole) and customizable mimosa flights and beer flights.

The Hampton Social

Katie's Kitchen

If you're having a barbecue this weekend, consider the 4th of July barbecue catering options, which include trays of pulled pork, sloppy Joe's, smoked pork ribs, smoked brisket, sides and more. The $70 grilling package includes Angus steak burgers, bratwurst or beef franks, buns, potato or pasta salad and homemade potato chips. Order ahead for pickup.

In Northbrook, sip beers from Maplewood Brewing while listening to local musician Gabriel Datcu. In Oak Brook, the featured brewery is Half Acre, and Chris Siebold will be providing the music. Goose Island is the featured brewery in Chicago. Tickets are required for the 21-and-older event.

Saranello's
