The power of human relationships comes from simple, ordinary moments and interactions. When people stop to recognize what a human interaction can do, they can understand how each person has opportunities to connect and share with, include, and support their loved ones.

In this interactive presentation, participants will explore what is rich and powerful about brief everyday moments of human interaction.

Li is the Saul Zaentz senior lecturer in early childhood education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. His research and practice focus on understanding and supporting the work of those who serve children and families in education and social services.

As the executive director of the Fred Rogers Center for Early Learning and Children's Media, Winters seeks to apply and advance the legacy of Fred Rogers in serving children and their helpers. She supervises the center's research lab, Incubator 143, which partners with educators, trainers, advocates and researchers to focus on identifying and amplifying the power of human connection.

The Glenbard Parent Series is generously sponsored by the Cebrin Goodman Center, Community Consolidated School District 93 Birth to 5 Community Coalition, Cooperative Association for Special Education (CASE), College of DuPage, DuPage Medical Group, Emmy Gaffey Foundation, Glenbard Early Childhood Collaborative, Kiwanis Clubs of District 9, and Prevention Leadership Team of the DuPage County Health Department.
