Jack Carriglio Appointed to Judiciary Committee of American College of Trial Lawyers

Jack Carriglio, a member of Cozen O'Connor's Commercial Litigation Department in Chicago, has been appointed to the Judiciary Committee of the American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL).

ACTL is recognized as the preeminent organization of trial lawyers in North America, dedicated to maintaining and improving the standards of trial practice, professionalism, ethics, and the administration of justice.

The mandate of the College's Judiciary Committee is to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with the appropriate agencies, organizations, and the courts; analyze and seek to ameliorate barriers to the attraction and retention of highly qualified judges; distribute appropriate college publications; and participate in other programs and projects to educate, train, and assist the judiciaries in the discharge of their duties.

Carriglio, a longtime Fellow of ACTL and the former president of the Chicago Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, has earned a reputation as one of the premier trial lawyers in Chicago in both commercial litigation and federal criminal cases, and he has tried cases and argued appeals in federal and state, civil and criminal courts throughout the United States.

He represents clients in commercial disputes, including the prosecution and defense of cases relating to contracts, business torts, bankruptcy, securities, product defects, patents, copyrights, trade secrets, partnership disputes, malpractice and professional disciplinary matters, and real estate litigation.
