In These 'Dog Days of Summer' the Chicago Dogs Play Their Last Regular Home Games Aug. 27-29

It's the "dog days of summer" for real with the Chicago Dog's final home games of the season this weekend as they take on the Fargo-Moorehead RedHawks at 7:05 p.m. Friday, Aug. 27 and Saturday, Aug. 28 and 3:05 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 29.

Special weekend promotions

* Aug. 27: Happy Hour Friday with giveaways, food and drink specials, live music plus post-game fireworks.

* Aug. 28: "Bark at the Park." Dogs available for adoption will be visiting and fans are invited to bring their four-legged family members as well.

* Aug. 29: Families can engage in some catch on the field, secure autographs from players, and enjoy, $3 Bottomless Popcorn, $3 Bottomless Fountain Drinks.

The Chicago Dogs are members of the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball. Named after Chicago's favorite and oldest culinary tradition, the Chicago Dogs' logo features the colors and stars of the iconic Chicago flag. Home games are played at the state-of-the-art Impact Field located at 9850 Balmoral Avenue in Rosemont, Ill. The team is managed by former Boston Red Sox Manager, Butch Hobson, who brings more than 30 years of experience to Rosemont. Chicago Dogs games welcome fans of all ages for a one-of-a-kind experience where every day is fan appreciation day.
