Fort Payne NSDAR honors Bettye Wehrli for community service to Naperville

On Sunday, June 13, the Fort Payne Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution honored one of their own for outstanding community service to the city of Naperville. This prestigious award is given annually to a member of the Naperville community who has made a difference and continues to make a difference in the quality of Naperville life.

Since moving to Naperville in the late 1960s, Bettye Wehrli has been instrumental in forming boards and commissions, serving on these boards and commissions, and enthusiastically promoting Naperville around the world.

Among the many boards she has served on include the Naperville Art League, Century Walk, the Naperville Heritage Society and the Fort Payne Chapter. And there are many more.

Around Naperville, Bettye is affectionately known as "Mrs. Naperville."

Join the Fort Payne chapter in congratulating Bettye for everything she has done. Naperville would not be the lovely city it is today without her vision and commitment. Fort Payne is proud to call Bettye one of their own.
