Northbrook Symphony Season Opening

Join the Northbrook Symphony under the direction of Maestro Mina Zikri at its opening performance of the 2020-2021 season. The Chicago Symphony Orchestra Concertmaster Robert Chen will be playing the Mozart Violin Concerto No. 4 in D Major, K. 218.

This is a prerecorded live performance presented virtually via Zoom.

The performance broadcast dates are:

Friday, October 23, 2020 at 7:30pm

Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 7:30pm

Sunday, October 25, 2020 at 4:00pm, will include a post-performance virtual question/answer session with the soloist and the conductor.

The Northbrook Symphony celebrates its 41st season/2nd season under Maestro Mina Zikri as Music Director. An internationally acclaimed conductor, Maestro Zikri is the founder and Music Director of the Oistrakh Symphony of Chicago and is the Resident Conductor of the Lira Ensemble. Maestro Zikri frequently travels as Assistant Conductor to the legendary pianist and conductor Daniel Barenboim with the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra on their annual tours to major music festivals and concert halls world-wide.

The Northbrook Symphony is a 501(c)(3) professional music ensemble.
