State house candidate Laura Hois leads food drive to support community needs

Laura Hois, candidate for state representative in the 81st House District, invites community members to join her in supporting the Downers Grove FISH Food Pantry.

"I am inspired every day by the kind acts of neighbors who are donating food, sewing masks for local senior citizen centers or donating meals to health care workers," explained local leader Laura Hois. "Our friends and neighbors are going through a difficult time right now and I'm pleased my team and I can help alleviate one of their worries and support our community."

With Governor Pritzker's stay-at-home order remaining in effect until the end of May, the Hois campaign is organizing a food drive to support FISH Food Pantry's critical needs by providing fresh and nonperishable food items as well as cleaning supplies.

As part of this food drive, Team Hois will pick up donations right off residents' front porches. Please contact Laura at hoisforrep@gmail.com.
