Student Ambassadors to present SPU workshop on increasing happiness

Come learn about the benefits of positive psychology from Addams Junior High Student Ambassadors at District 54's Schaumburg Parent University workshop March 12 and walk away with simple tactics to increase your happiness.

We all strive for happiness, but in our busy everyday lives it can be easy to forget to be happy. Happiness is not something that happens to you but rather a choice you can make to lead a more fulfilling and enriching life. Research shows that choosing happiness has an advantage beyond simply feeling good. During this workshop, participants will experience the happiness advantage through fun and interactive activities the whole family can enjoy. Families including students in kindergarten through eighth grade are welcome. This event will take place from 6-7 p.m. Thursday, March 12 at the District 54 Professional Learning Center, 522 E. Schaumburg Road, Schaumburg. Enter through Door C1.
