Forest Bootery To Take Lead: One Year of Local Treasures

FOREST BOOTERY TO TAKE LEAD: ONE YEAR OF LOCAL TREASURES

After 2019 celebrating their 70th anniversary Forest Bootery embarks on a one year commitment of supporting Local, Being Local and Loving Local. With strong community heritage and bonds they plan to use Forest Bootery's brick and mortar footprint to host this vision.

They struggled with how to achieve this goal:

"Our communities are rich in businesses and services that don't have a prime location. I want to call attention to these best kept secrets that make our communities such a wonderfully unique place to live, eat and shop. Diverse selection gives customers choices making it even easier for everyone to keep their support local. "

With plenty of store frontage the idea blossomed to let a different small business or service have one month visibility in each of their downtown locations. The leads come from customers, friends or social media on businesses or services that will get this rare opportunity to have their message seen.

"It has been so much fun reaching out and making the connections. I already think this may be a never ending list" says Garrison.

JANUARY: ESSENTIAL OILS

As we all try to keep health this winter we thought essential oils are a perfect match for January. Whether you want pure vitamins, natural remedies or toxic free solutions you will find it with our two spotlights.

LAKE FOREST: KRISTEN WEISBERG WITH doTERRA

Kristen Weisberg is a doTerra advocate. "What I love about these oils is that they are CPTG standard. It stands for certified pure therapeutic grade, and it means these oils are pure and potent.

Pure means there are no foreign contaminants or fillers. Potent means that each plant was grown in a part of the world where that plant grows best, resulting in the absolute best chemistry for that plant. When you have the ideal natural chemistry, the essential oil does exactly what we want it to do to our body" says Weisberg.

She will be in our Lake Forest location every Wednesday morning from 10am-12pm to answer questions and share here knowledge of the benefits of Essential Oils. Her health journey and path to natural wellness was featured on Ann Marie Schiedler's blog annmarieontheshore.com For doTERRA product information contact Kristen at https://www.doterra.com/US/en/site/kristenweisberg she has a fun year of events planned.
