Glenbard Parent Series to present habits to build stronger relationships, increase joy
The Glenbard Parent Series Navigating Healthy Families will present "Lee's 3 Habits: A Workshop for Stronger Relationships and Greater Happiness."
Paul Corona, founder of the Lee's 3 Habits system, will speak at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, at Glenbard West High School, 670 Crescent Blvd. in Glen Ellyn.
According to Corona, when people interact with one another, they can tell, talk and take too much. Telling, talking and taking don't make people happier. Asking, listening and giving increase happiness, because these three habits strengthen people's relationships with others. In this practical, humorous workshop, Corona will explain how the Lee's 3 Habits system helps motivated people build stronger relationships to achieve increased joy and greater fulfillment.
Continuing professional development units are available for this event.
Corona is a clinical professor of leadership in the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and author of "The Wisdom of Walk-Ons: 7 Winning Strategies for College, Business and Life."
