Get animated at Mom & Son Pixar Date Night

Schaumburg Park District is making the perfect date night come to life at Mom & Son Pixar Date Night.

The Pixar-themed event presented by Schaumburg Bank & Trust Company, N.A., a Wintrust Community Bank, is set for 5-7 p.m., Jan. 18 at the Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road.

The evening will feature dinner, games, crafts and a DJ. Each child will be given a special keepsake to take home.

"Pixar has created so many incredible characters, so we thought it would be a perfect theme for this event," said Kathleen Benson, Bock Neighborhood Center manager. "We're going to have a costume contest for the best Pixar-themed outfits, so participants can come dressed up as their favorite characters!"

Cost is $35 per couple for residents and $50 per couple for non-residents. Cost for each additional child is $17 for residents and $24 for non-residents. Registration deadline is Jan. 16. If any parent or child has a special dietary restriction, please call Kathleen at 847-985-2141.
