Goldfish Swim School Northbrook Volunteers at Clean Up - Give Back

On November 16, team members of Goldfish Swim School Chicagoland engaged in a day of community service and team building to give back to the communities that give so much to them. The service day, "Goldfish Gives Back," allowed for Chicago area Goldfish Swim School franchises to provide a service or project that helps the local neighborhood and beyond. From beach and park cleaning, to supply drives, "Goldfish Gives Back" is a way for the premier learn-to-swim school to say thanks and make a difference on the local level.

Goldfish Swim School of Northbrook partnered with Clean Up-Give Back to help clean up the Potawatomi Woods in Northbrook, IL. All 35 employees of the Northbrook school first participated in a team bonding activity and then headed to the Potawatomi Woods to pick up garbage in the park, the highway roads and streets.

This effort by the Northbrook team resulted in the Northbrook team filling up 15 garbage bags full of waste.

"I'm proud of our team in Northbrook who spent a cold, snowy fall day cleaning up our beautiful park," said Dzesika Teresko, General Manager of Goldfish Swim School Northbrook. "It was great to get out of the water and into the wild to give back to our neighborhood!"

Clean Up - Give Back is a Non Profit 501 (c) (3) that provides individuals, companies, clubs and other groups the opportunity to make their community better through clean up campaigns.
