Barbara Strongin Joins Freedom Home Care and Medical Staff as Director of Medical Staffing
Strongin's expertise and years of experience in the field will enable her to expand Freedom Home Care and Medical Staffing's footprint throughout the greater Chicagoland area and help quell the medical staffing shortage in the industry.

With Strongin at the helm of the Medical Staffing division, Freedom Home Care will be able to further its reach into healthcare, assisted living and institutional facilities. Under her leadership, the Company will assist hospitals and other healthcare facilities with all their staffing needs.
Strongin has been a respected and dedicated medical care professional for more than 40 years. Since beginning her career in the late 1960's, Barbara has worked for a number of staffing organizations where she trained field staff supervisors and served as regional director for business development. A lifelong Chicago native and Northbrook resident, her knowledge extends to both urban and suburban medical settings. Strongin's experience includes in-home placements, as well as large-scale medical facility and staffing needs for world-renowned hospitals and healthcare systems. Strongin's areas of expertise include project management, administrative coordination, navigation of public health surveys and licensing, and staff logistics. She is a graduate of the Cook County School of Medicine with degrees in Medical Technician and Nursing and a focus on Medical Staffing. She is also a member of the Advisory Board of Oakton Community College School of Nursing.
