GFWC Northwest Suburban Woman's Club Celebrates Two Anniversaries

The Northwest Suburban Woman's Club will celebrate its one-year anniversary at its next meeting on October 15. The celebration coincides with the General Federation of Women's Clubs-Illinois, 125th anniversary.

GFWC-IL President Shelli Fehr will speak about the value of belonging to a General Federation Club, while 125th Anniversary Chair Phyllis Skubis will discuss the GFWC-IL's role during World War II.

The October 15 meeting of the Northwest Suburban Woman's Club will be held in the Rasmussen Room on the 2nd floor of the Schaumburg Library beginning at 6:30 p.m. The civic and social-minded group encourages women of all ages and backgrounds to attend. The program will be presented at 7:30 p.m.
