Glenbard congratulates National Merit semifinalists
Glenbard Township High School District 87 is proud to announce that nine Glenbard students have been named semifinalists in the National Merit Scholarship competition.
Semifinalists include Glenbard East student Sophia Pieta; Glenbard North students John Cauilan, Nicholas O'Brien and Jack Van Der Vliet; Glenbard South student Michaela Reif; and Glenbard West students Paul du Vair, Sofia Iannicelli, Morgan Rose and Francis Sheehy.
Semifinalists must advance to finalist standing in the competition by meeting high academic standards, receiving a recommendation from their principal and earning SAT scores that confirm the earlier qualifying test performance.
