The Turtle Krawl
3/4 ounce white rum
3/4 ounce coconut rum
1/2 ounce dark or spiced rum
Splash of Grenadine or maraschino cherry juice
Splash of lime juice or Key lime juice
Equal parts orange juice and pineapple juice, approximately 2 ounces each
For garnish: half an orange slice, a wedge of lime or pineapple and a stemmed maraschino cherry all threaded on an extra-long toothpick or wooden skewer.
Pour ingredients into a cocktail shaker to mix and pour into an ice cube filled 12-ounce glass. Add garnish and serve.
Penny's note: Make this recipe in bulk for parties and place in a pretty pitcher without ice. Place "pre-skewered" fruit in a bowl on the side and allow guests to make their own drinks. It is always a hit.
