Face N Time kicks off Memorial Day Weekend at Chaser's Lake Zurich

Kick off Memorial Day Weekend with the makin' of the music! Face N Time is excited to return to Chaser's Sports Bar & Grill, 830 S. Rand Rd. in Lake Zurich at 8pm on Saturday, May 25.

Let's take a look on the stage - this is the first in a series that will focus on each of the members of the band.

Michael Brown started picking out melodies by ear on the family piano early on and played the trombone through high school, particularly enjoying Jazz. During those teenage years, he was also drawn to the sounds of a six string and went on to study guitar at the American Conservatory of Music.

Unfortunately, classical guitar was their only guitar major and Mike lost interest after a year and a half. A poster outlining improvisation classes at Second City caught his eye. Music took a back seat for years to improv theater, relationships, work and then family after he married his high school sweetheart, Charlie (yes, she's Charlie Brown).

After making a deep commitment to his faith, Mike pursued an interest in contemporary Christian music, directing his church choir, cutting some demo's and leading worship on guitar and vocals. Once his sons left for college (both musicians in their own right), he started playing out at venues with a variety of bands. He's enjoyed playing with Face N Time over the last several years, bringing his smooth voice and guitar magic to their harmonies.

Face N Time's talented musicians continue to evolve their signature eclectic style that wows audiences throughout Chicagoland, playing sets of songs from a wide variety of genre. When FNT is "makin' the music", you are guaranteed to hear your favorites, old and new so come on and dance with them! Give Face N Time a "like" on facebook to keep up with the latest FNT news.
