Voice Specialist in Rehabilitating Injured Singers offers Discount Voice Screenings in Chicagoland
DOWNERS GROVE, IL - Drinking half your body weight in ounces of water a day is a good choice for singers with voice problems. Throat coat tea, honey, or gargling salt water may make your throat feel better, but it's a myth that it is a remedy. Many people rely on their voices to do their jobs effectively each day so vocal health is important for everyone. Singers and performers place higher demands on their voices, so understanding how to care for the voice is a high priority.
Voice Specialist and Speech Pathologist, Lori L. Sonnenberg, specializes in bringing back the voices of singers who have suffered an injury to the vocal folds. She is the founder and owner of Sonnenberg Voice, a Comprehensive Voice Care Clinic, offering specialized therapy for voice and airway disorders. In honor of World Voice Day 2019, Sonnenberg Voice will offer discounted Voice Screenings for singers and vocalists for one week only. The ideal candidates to take advantage of this community resource are singers and vocalists, both professional and avocational.
Screenings will be offered between April 15th and April 19th during regular business hours at the Sonnenberg Voice offices 1431 Opus Place, Suite 110, Downers Grove, IL, 60515. Appointment is necessary. Exclusions apply and details about this offer can be seen on the clinic Facebook page @sonnenbergvoice. Contact the clinic via www.sonnenbergvoice.com or call 630-442-1883 to schedule.
"I am pleased, after 15 years in practice in the Chicagoland area, and working with some of the top physicians, voice teachers and singers to rehabilitate voices, to use the Sonnenberg Voice Clinic to educate singers and performers," Sonnenberg said. "Every year we, as voice professionals around the world, celebrate World Voice Day by educating our local communities and beyond about vocal health and how to take care of your voice. Increasing awareness about common voice problems, how to stay in tip top vocal health, and knowing when to seek professional help are essential to long-term vocal health."
