St. Thomas the Apostle sets Christmas season Mass schedule

Celebrate the birth of the Christ child at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Naperville! Guests and visitors to the area are especially welcome and can choose from a variety of Mass times to join St. Thomas parishioners in joyful prayer and singing.

All Masses and celebrations will be held in the church, 1500 Brookdale Road, unless noted otherwise.

The holiday schedule is:

Christmas Eve

• At 4 p.m. Monday, Dec. 24, in the church; and 4:10 p.m. in the gymnasium in the church building, both Masses include gospel pageants and are geared toward families. Second-graders through middle-school aged youngsters will bring the Christmas story to life at these Masses. The young and the young at heart are welcome.

• At 4:30 p.m. at St. Patrick's Residence, 1400 Brookdale Road, St. Thomas liturgical and music ministers will assist with this Mass.

• At 7 p.m., the young adult Mass in the church features high school students and young adults. Those of any age are joyfully invited to attend.

• At 9:30 p.m., an hour of Christmas carols sung by the Voices of Faith, the St. Thomas adult choir, precedes the Christmas Mass at Night in the church.

• At 10:30 p.m., the Christmas Mass at Night in the church celebrates Christ's birth.

Christmas Day

On Tuesday, Dec. 25, there will be Mass at 9 and 11 a.m.

Mary, Mother of God

On Monday, Dec. 31, there will be a 4:30 p.m. Mass. There will be no 8:30 a.m. Mass on this day.

On Tuesday, Jan. 1, Mass will be at 10 a.m.
