March of Dimes research gave this Elgin pediatric hospitalist's son a chance

Advocate Sherman Hospital is a sponsor of this year's March of Dimes Fox Valley March for Babies walk on Saturday, April 21, in Pottawatomie Park in St. Charles.

With an active Family Birthing Center and Special Care Nursery for pre-mature babies, the hospital participates every year with teams and walkers to raise funds for March of Dimes awareness, prevention, research, and interventions for women and baby's health.

This year, the Ambassador family is the Johnson family from Elgin, with Mallory Logsdon, DO (Johnson), Advocate Medical Group Pediatric Hospitalist, her husband Matthew Johnson and their son, August.
