Glenbard congratulates National Merit Commended Students

Twenty-five Glenbard Township High School District 87 students have been named commended students in the National Merit Scholarship program.

Commended students are among the top 5% of the 1.5 million students who entered the competition by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT). Some commended students become candidates for special scholarships sponsored by corporations and businesses.

Congratulations to the following students:

Glenbard East High School students Tala Clower, Dominic Covelli, Kevin Galvan, Pearl Garrett, Adil Hussaini, and Christopher Turner.

Glenbard North High School students Donna Gieser, Natasha Sawant, and Tam Ta.

Glenbard South High School student Tyler Schwarz

Glenbard West High School students Ethan Ang, Anne Blatchford, Joseph Chapski, Allison Galitz, Lauren Galitz, Joanne He, Lorena Iannicelli, Claire Kenwood, Anthony Lanzillo, Jackson Malec, Luke Malek, Zayd Saeed, Darren Seaney, Kaitlin Solak and Elizabeth Svach.
