'London Calling' at Fox Valley Beaux Arts annual fashion show

Get your virtual passport and enjoy the ambience of London at this year's Fox Valley Beaux Arts luncheon and fashion show.

The fun and destination begins on Saturday, Sept. 16, at the Elgin Country Club, 2575 Weld Road in Elgin.

The itinerary is set at 11 a.m. with a silent auction, raffles and vendors with a luncheon at 12:30 p.m.

Guests also will enjoy a fashion show featuring the unique and travel-friendly Fashions by Chico's from The Arboretum of South Barrington.

Tickets for this "first class" event are $45 per person.

Proceeds from the luncheon/fashion show are designated for college scholarships benefiting students pursuing the arts.

Fox Valley Beaux Arts, a nonprofit women's club, was founded 34 years ago to foster and support the arts.

Its mission is to offer scholarships to Elgin area seniors majoring or minoring in the arts.
