BenU's Values-Driven Leadership program ranked No. 1 in HR.com's LEAD Awards

Benedictine University's Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)/Doctor of Business Administration (D.B.A.) in Values-Driven Leadership Program was recognized as a Top 10 Ph.D. program in HR.com's 2017 LEAD (Leadership Excellence and Development) Awards.

The doctoral program, designed for senior executives, received the No. 1 ranking in the annual listing of the best doctoral programs with emphasis in leadership and organizational development. This is the second year Benedictine's program has made the list. In 2016, it was ranked No. 5.

For the past 34 years, the LEAD Awards have identified the best leadership/human resources (HR) development programs and organizations around the world. Past winners have included Fortune 500 companies, small start-ups, colleges and universities. Each year, hundreds of educational institutions and business organizations submit their nominations to be reviewed by the LEAD Awards panel.

To qualify for a LEAD award, institutions must submit a nomination that is reviewed by a team at HR.com. Surveys are sent to the program participants to gather feedback. The winners are chosen based on the quantity and quality of the ratings and the number of participants in the program.

HR.com is the largest global social networking and resource site for HR professionals committed to providing a deeper understanding of the HR function for its more than 250,000 members.

"This award is an honor and a tribute to our exceptional students, alumni, faculty, staff and distinguished visiting scholars," said Jim Ludema, Ph.D., professor of Global Leadership and co-founder of the Center for Values-Driven Leadership. "It is also an invitation to keep raising the bar on excellence, so we can elevate our contribution to business and society."

The Ph.D./D.B.A. Program in Values-Driven Leadership is a fully-accredited doctoral program offered by the Center for Values-Driven Leadership (CVDL) in the Daniel L.
