Immanuel students participate in honor band festival

Seventy-four director-nominated band students from 20 Lutheran schools from throughout the state of Illinois came together for the 14th annual Lutheran Honor Band Festival on Friday, March 17.

The day of rehearsals, sectionals, and community at Concordia Lutheran School in Peoria culminated in a concert showcasing the talents and dedication of these young musicians.

Congratulations to Charlie Nelson (tenor saxophone) and Ethan Bello (trombone), who were selected to represent Immanuel in the Batavia school's first opportunity to participate in this festival.
