Glenbard District 87 is proud to be among the sponsors of the DuPage County NAACP 6th Annual College and Career Readiness Fair.

No Limits for Excellence will be held from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, at Glenbard South High School, 23W200 Butterfield Road in Glen Ellyn. This free event is hosted by Glenbard South, Glenbard District 87 & DuPage County NAACP. It is open to all students, parents and guardians. Register at http://bit.ly/2bwHUk4

An ACT-SO/Jr. ACT-SO orientation will immediately follow the fair. ACT-SO, the Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological and Scientific Olympics, provides career exploration in 26 subject areas encompassed by the sciences, humanities, business and the arts. Recruiters will be on hand from major colleges and universities, including: Northwestern University, University of Chicago, West Point, Northern Illinois University, North Central College, HBCUs and others.

Workshops and panel discussions will include Scholarship and Financial Aid Workshops; Education Advocacy/Empowerment Seminars; and Summer Internships with representatives of major corporations describing the process.
