Learn how to join the 'On the Table' community conversation

The College of Lake County, in partnership with The Lake County Community Foundation and The Chicago Community Trust, invites you to learn about how to host an On the Table conversation on April 12.

The Chicago Community Trust's On the Table is an annual forum designed to elevate civic conversation, foster new relationships and create a unifying experience across the region. Over the past two years, more than 40,000 residents of Chicago, Lake County and other neighboring counties have come together to participate in On the Table conversations.

A Host Information Session will be held from 3-4:30 p.m. on April 12 at the University Center of Lake County, Rooms 142 and 143, 1200 University Center Dr., Grayslake. The conversations will continue at the On the Table 2016 event May 10.

Join thousands of Chicagoland residents to share a meal and discuss the future of our region. On the Table will connect individuals and communities of diverse perspectives and backgrounds. Talking and listening to our neighbors is an important first step toward creating a more unified region.

If you are interested in hosting an On the Table conversation and wish to learn more about what's involved, sign up to attend the Host Information Sessions. Lake County residents, from business leaders and activists to students and teachers, are invited to participate. Refreshments will be provided by The Lake County Community Foundation. To attend, visit www.onthetable.eventbrite.com and select the April 12 event at College of Lake County. By attending and registering to host, you'll have a chance to win a $100 gift card to support your event!
