iPad raffle, autographed guitar, and last call for teams at Literacy Connection's Trivia Bee
The Literacy Connection's annual Trivia Bee will feature a grand prize raffle with a chance to win an Apple iPad, $250 cash or two tickets to see Florence & the Machine this summer! Tickets are on sale now or during the annual fundraiser, which will be held from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 9, at Grand Victoria Casino in Elgin.
The fundraiser will feature a Fender acoustic guitar, autographed by Nashville singers and songwriters Dierks Bentley and Sam Hunt, listed as an eBay charity auction to conclude during the event.
Bids can be placed via eBay at www.elginliteracy.org.
The agency is still accepting team registrations. Teams are comprised of no more than four members. Prizes are awarded to the top three teams. Registration is $500 per team. Individuals, groups, or businesses can sponsor a team to participate.
Stew Cohen, host of "Stew's News" on Star 105.5, will emcee the event.

Spectators are encouraged to attend, and tickets are $5 per entry. Refreshments and a cash bar will be available, and gift baskets will be raffled.
