Blake and his father, Scott, were in the lead car through a wish granted by the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the St. Charles Police Department. Blake has been diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a childhood cancer, and an autoimmune disorder.

Dogs of all breeds got their paws dirty as they used their noses to smell out dog treats in easter eggs at the Al Hattendorf Center in Elk Grove Village on Saturday. This marked the fifth year for the event which teaches dog to be social with other dogs as well as people.
