Elgin Master Chorale offers open rehearsal for prospective members
Elgin, Jan. 7 - Choral singers interested in joining the Elgin Master Chorale are invited to attend an open rehearsal from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, at the Elgin Community College Arts Center, (Building H), 1700 Spartan Drive.
The open rehearsal will provide prospective members an opportunity to experience the joy of singing with the area's premier large chorus in a rehearsal of the Vivaldi's "Gloria," one of the most joyous and uplifting pieces of choral music. Refreshments and an opportunity to meet current members will follow the open rehearsal. No RSVP is required.
If interested, singers may sign up for a formal audition later in January.
