Glenbard District 87 congratulates all state student musicians

Several Glenbard District 87 students have been selected for the Illinois Music Education Association All-State Festival to be held next month in Peoria. The students were selected based on a rigorous audition procedure of etudes, musical excerpts, scales, triads, sight-reading, and participation at the District Festival. They were chosen from more than 12,000 students statewide who auditioned.

Congratulations to the following Illinois Music Education Association All-State students:

Glenbard East High School

Javier Cisneros, trombone; Ashley Ireland, Bb clarinet; Nick Ortiz, tenor sax; Morgan Easterday, Future Music Educator Seminar (orchestra); Max Tuhey, Future Music Educator Seminar (choir); Haley Mott, composer (2nd place - Jazz improvisation); Morgan Mott, composer (3rd place - Jazz improvisation); and Ethan Prado, composer (2nd place - Avant Garde/electronic)

Glenbard North High School
