The Lions Club of Algonquin is conducting its annual Flower Power Bulb Sale Fundraising event until Saturday, Oct. 10.

Some of the selections include: 25 mixed wildflowers for $10; six mixed hyacinths for $12; five Fireworks allium for $12; 25 Muscari Magic Carpet mix for $12; 10 Foxtrot Double tulips for $15; 1 red amaryllis for $20; 10 Double Daffodil Duo for $15; 10 Fragrant Jonquil mix for $15; 12 Appleblossom tulips for $15; Love & Passion blend for $15; 12 Sixty Days of Tulips for $15; 15 Giant Yellow daffodils for $15; 20 red and yellow tulip mix for $15; 25 Dutch iris mix for $12; 25 mixed windflowers for $10; 35 Drumstick alliums for $10; 35 mixed snow crocus for $12; 35 striped squill for $12; six Giant Purple Sensation allium for $12; six paperwhites for $12; seven pink buttercups for $12. Or order a 100 Fall Bulb Garden for $40 or 50 bulbs for $25. They also offer a 2016 Flowers of Beauty calendar for $12; a Flower Power cookbook for $15; a Healthy Herb Garden for $10; alfalfa sprouts or broccoli sprouts for $5; or a two-tray sprouter for $20.

A customer who orders more than $40, before shipping, is eligible for a free bonus 35 Rock Garden allium bulbs.

The funds raised from this event are used for eye exams and glasses for those in need, hearing tests and hearing aids for those in need and various local charities.
