Glenbard East invites marching band alumni to perform Sept. 11

To honor America at Glenbard East's home football game on Friday, Sept. 11, the Marching Rams will present Glenbard Remembers, a celebration of friends, family, community and our country.

As a part of this celebration, they would like to invite Glenbard alumni and faculty/staff members that were a part of their high school or college marching bands to perform the pre-game show alongside current Glenbard East students.

If it's been a while since you've played, fear not. This event is more about your presence than your sound. They promise to make this a successful event, even for those that may be a little rusty on their music & marching skills.

RSVP no later than Wednesday, Sept. 9 at gemusic.org. Here's the vision:

Friday, Sept. 11th:

5:00 p.m. Music & Marching Rehearsal (band, alumni/faculty)

6:15 p.m. Rehearsal Ends. Enjoy the Music Department Tailgate (rsvp at http://gemusic.org/)

6:55 p.m. Band marches from band room to the stadium

7:25 p.m. Pre-game Performance
