ami ami COMBINES THEIR PASSION FOR FITNESS WITH FASHION
Highland Park's ami ami, is combining their passion for fitness with fashion at a night of yoga on March 12th at 6:00pm. Partnering with Equinox of Highland Park, the most fashion forward boutique on the North Shore will be holding a free yoga night, open to the public.
ami ami , 668 Central Avenue in Downtown Highland Park, will transform from a chic, fashion store, into a serene and calming yoga studio. Stacey Skolnick, co-owner of ami ami has been practicing yoga for over 15 years, trained at Yogaview and teaches at Shri Yoga when she's not in New York searching the runways for the freshest fashions, or giving her customers styling advice. She will be bringing in Stephanie Metz, a yoga instructor from Highland Park's Equinox, to lead the evening of yoga. Metz received her training from Moksha Yoga and also volunteers at Highland Park Hospital teaching Yoga Therapeutics.
Skolnick feels passionate about the benefits of yoga, saying, "Yoga brought the grace and beauty back into my life for which I so longed, and I want to bring that to my customers. It doesn't only make you look good, but it makes you feel good too."
The public is invited to reserve a few hours in their day to reflect, stretch, and strengthen. All skill levels are encouraged to attend, and yoga mats will be provided by Equinox. Even better, ami ami is offering 30% off all activewear in the store!
