Mango Salsa

1 large mango, peeled, seeded and diced

½ medium red onion, diced

½ hot banana pepper, seeded and deveined

⅛ teaspoon fresh ground allspice

Salt and pepper to taste

Juice from ½ large lime

¼ cup slivered toasted almonds

In a medium bowl, toss the diced mango, onion and pepper. Add allspice, salt, pepper along with lime juice and toasted almonds; mix lightly. Chill until ready to serve. Serve with Jerked Anise Chicken.
